Hyltun Farm is a 19th century family farm located in the foothills of the western Maine mountains with over 100 acres of open fields and miles of trails through the farm’s old growth and selectively cut forests.
Ernie and Gwen Hilton own and operate the farm with assistance from daughters Kelsey and Emily, who are the 8th generation of Hiltons on the land (See History)
We offer the following products and services:
Hay Sales. We harvest about 5,000 bales of forage hay each season, which is available for sale by arrangement. For more information about our hay click here.
Recreational Vehicle, Boat and Car Storage. We provide winter storage for RVs, boats, trailers and other big stuff in the large upper barn on concrete and wood floors. Generally, we put items in the barn by November 1st, and remove them toward the end of April. Fore more information on storage click here.
Equestrian and Horse Facilities. The farm has a number of equestrian facilities, including a cross-country jumping course, stadium jumps and acres of open space and miles of trails. Read all about our equestrian facilities.
